The Lee County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a robbery to a person at the Bank Of America on Homestead Rd. It happened just before 5:00 p.m.
The victim told deputies she walked up to the ATM when an armed man robbed her and fled the scene in a green vehicle.
It happened just before 5 p.m. off of Homestead Road in Lehigh Acres. Deputies say a woman was getting money out of the ATM when a black man approached her with a gun demanding money.
Even in broad daylight, deputies say the man got away, fleeing in a green car along homestead road.
The event has some ATM customers questioning their safety.
