CPR Training To Be Offered In Lehigh Acres

On the Spot- Stella Toomey- Stella Toomey of On the Spot CPR Training is offering two-year American Heart Association BLS CPR certification training at the Lehigh Acres Veterans Park Recreation Center.

Stella Toomey of On the Spot CPR Training (onthespotcprtraining.com) will offer two-year American Heart Association BLS CPR certification training at the Lehigh Acres Veterans Park Recreation Center located at 55 Homestead Ave. South. Preregistration is required and class size is limited to twelve students. The course is open to those ages 16 and up. Classes are offered once a month from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday’s from Aug. 17, 2013 through Aug. 16, 2014. The registration fee is $70.

In this classroom-based course using the newest AHA guidelines, healthcare professionals learn to recognize several life-threatening emergencies, provide CPR to victims of all ages, use an AED, and relieve choking in a safe, timely and effective manner. Instructor led format provides students with an enhanced learning environment, and video based instruction ensures consistency. Additionally, the hands-on class format solidifies skills taught during the course.

  1. This is a great opportunity to learn CPR skills. This is going to help everyone gain knowledge on CPR and how to perform CPR in case of an emergency. It is important that we learn the techniques of CPR and take advantage of whatever course will be offered.

  2. Learning how to do CPR is really a great idea. Even though you are not working in the medical field, you could still use this skill during emergency cases. But I wonder if what will be the requirements to be able to register in this course.
