Lee County deputies said they are investigating after a 2-year-old at a Lehigh Acres daycare was taken to the hospital and was pronounced dead.
The Gazette was told the incident happened in a pool area at the daycare.
The size of the pool was not clear, but we are told other kids were present at the time.
Smith Family Daycare, is registered with the state and is licensed capacity is 10 children.
