The Lehigh Acres Gazette has learned the names of the two people who were found dead in a Lehigh Acres home. They are Romie Franklin Jr., 50 and Laverne James, 48.
Deputies found the two dead inside of James’ home at 216 Fireside Court early Tuesday morning.
Deputies have been on the scene here for nearly a full day and they’re still investigating. But we’re slowly learning what happened inside of the home.
When deputies arrived to the home Monday night, they found one person who had been shot. And while his injuries weren’t too serious, he told deputies two more people were inside.
Over 35 deputies and the LCSO SWAT team surround the neighborhood. Some of the homes there were even evacuated.
As law enforcement officers made their way inside, they found the bodies of Franklin and James.
