Viola Lee Fuller January 24, 1925 – May 22, 2013
A special lady, Vi was born in Alva, Florida and lived most of her life in Lee County. Vi graduated to heaven leaving a host of family and friends mourning her loss. A proud graduate of Alva High School, she was an innovative business woman of the highest integrity. Her positive attitude, smile and great laugh live on in us. Viola owned and operated Vi’s Restaurant on Bay St in downtown Fort Myers for over 20 years and it was the place to be! Next, she owned a restaurant at Fort Myers Beach for over 10 years. She also served as chef for the Beach Lion’s Club. When she “retired” she ”volunteered” for Dr. Piper Center in Lehigh Acres serving numerous clients to whom she was a special friend. Vi was named as “volunteer of the year” in 2011. She was a faithful, active member of Alva Methodist Church for 76 years. She is survived by her beloved daughter, Carrie Lee Fuller, Lehigh Acres, brother: Jimmy Flynn, and sister: Opal Scombordi / Vero Beach, Florida. And many nieces & nephews whom all believed they were her favorite! Aunt Vi was predeceased by her parents: Curtis Ledward Flynn, Carrie Thigpen Flynn, brothers: Francis, & Cecil, Sisters: Nellie Bryant, & Becky Clarke, and spouse: Johnnie Fuller.
