The Hut in Buckingham, a landmark known for its lush tropical gardens, has closed – at least for the time being.
As employees arrived to work, the restaurant chef, Mark Wilson, announced that he would no longer work at the restaurant, said Tommy Lee Cook, the restaurant’s owner.
“I had a chef walk on me with no notice,” Cook said.
Cook announced the news on Facebook today, letting fans and diners know that the restaurant will be temporarily closed until further notice.
Cook’s hoping for a quick turn around, and has already interviewed two potential candidates for the job.
The restaurant’s biggest concerns are the more than 40 employees who cannot work while Cook searches for a new chef. The Hut also has parties and commitments scheduled as well.
