The brush fire that shut down part of State Road 29, about six miles south of I-75, is now under control.
Firefighters say as of now, no homes are threatened.
If you are in the area, here’s what you need to know:
-Drive cautiously on I-75 and SR 29.
-Expect delays and possible road closures if more smoke gets close to roadways.
-Expect to see smoke through Monday.

FHP is reporting that SR29 is currently closed between I75 and US41 due to heavy smoke from a controlled burn. The closure is expected to last through the night.
