Lee County Sheriff investigators are searching for answers to figure out what’s going on in Lehigh Acres after two car fires in three days
Residents who live near 59th Street West heard a loud boom Tuesday night. They went outside and discovered a Mitsubishi Eclipse engulfed in flames.
It’s unclear if the Mitsubishi Eclipse was stolen, but LCSO investigators say the hood was left open and the battery was taken out.
On Last Sunday night, Lehigh Acres firefighters put out the flames raging from a Ford Explorer off of Genoa Street.
The SUV was reported stolen.
The state fire marshal is also investigating both cases.
