Lt. Dale Pinheiro will be back on shift Friday after being fired 10 months ago.
Pinheiro was terminated by former Chief Adams in February and has been living off unemployment and trying to get his job back ever since.
Recent arbitration resolved the issue, noticing that Pinheiro should not have been fired but rather suspended.
Pinheiro will now receive 10 months of compensation.
During the arbitration purpose employees say former Chief Don Adams never addressed the “personality conflict” between Pinheiro and other coworkers and so the situation escalated.
