Lee County sheriff’s deputies arrested three men Wednesday after finding them with more than 70 pounds of marijuana.
Davan Paul Nieves, 32, of Lehigh Acres; Ranferi Ramirez-Portillo, 21, of Immokalee; and Samer Jamil Rashid, 39, of Lehigh Acres, all face marijuana trafficking charges.
Lee County Deputies responded to a report of shots fired Wednesday afternoon, and determined the noise had come from a rental unit in the 5400 block of Lee Street.
LCSO found 70.6 pounds of marijuana in plastic, vacuum-sealed bags, and boxes of Christmas wrapping and packing peanuts.
