Two Marijuana Grow Houses

Two marijuana grow houses are out of business tonight as the vendors cool their heels in jail.

A marijuana grow house operation conducted by the Lee County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics/Vice Unit and Bravo District deputies led to the detection and dismantling of the grow houses.

A search warrant was executed at 14590 Briar Lane, Fort Myers.  Deputies discovered 170 mature marijuana plants growing in the residence and on the property and arrested Alejandro Sanchez-Bahena,  Sanchez-Bahena is charged with trafficking in marijuana, producing marijuana and possession of drug equipment.  Deputies also located and seized three rifles and a pistol.

A second search warrant was executed at 913 Richmond Avenue N., Lehigh Acres.  Inside the residence, deputies discovered 65 marijuana plants in different stages of growth.  Deputies arrested Humberto Garcia, and charged him with trafficking in marijuana, producing marijuana, tampering with utility equipment and possession of a structure known to manufacture drugs with a minor present.
