Fort Myers Beach
If you live, own property or a business on Fort Myers Beach, you need to have a hurricane re-entry pass to get back on the island after the storm.
You can pick those up at Town Hall, 2523 Estero Boulevard until 4:30 p.m. today and tomorrow.
What you need to get a pass:
Property owners: Bring a photo ID & your proposed TRIM notice/property tax bill
Renters: Bring the current copy of your lease or a letter from your landlord as well as a photo ID.
Business owners/managers: Bring your Lee County business license receipt

Lee County School District
As of Thursday, August 23, 2012, all District operations and activities are taking place as scheduled.
Lee County Public Schools is monitoring the progress of Tropical Storm Isaac. District staff is in close communication with Lee County Emergency Operations officials as well meteorologists as the storm churns toward our area.
Administrators across the District have started their preliminary preparations in anticipation of the weather changing due to the storm. Each school has an emergency plan – as does the District – and those plans are starting to be implemented.
Sanibel Island
According to Sanibel’s city manager, they are monitoring the storm. The city hall is extending its hours so residents can pick up their hurricane re-entry passes through 8 p.m. Thursday and through 5 p.m. tomorrow.
