Gerald “Jay” E. Jones, Jr passed away on Aug. 19, 2012, a resident of Lehigh Acres, FL, he was born in New Bern, NC to Gerald and Betty Jo Jones Sr. He loved music, played many instruments and he was a drummer for bands in NC and VA. He is survived by his wife, Sharon, his mother, Betty Jo Jones of New Bern, NC, loving uncles, aunts and cousins. He was predeceased by his father. A memorial service will be conducted on Sat at 11:00 am on Sat. at New Image Ministries with Pastor Michael Porzio officiating. In lieu of flowers, church or Guiding Eyes for the Blind.
