Law enforcement has revealed the fugitive who evaded arrest in Lehigh Acres on Thursday may be traveling in a grey Mercedes with his girlfriend and two young children.
Felipe Alex Torrealba is wanted in connection to a Broward County murder and a Miami-Dade police shootout. U.S. marshals tracked him to a home on 54th Street Southwest in Lehigh Acres Thursday night, only to find he bolted minutes before they arrived.
On Monday, the Broward Sheriff’s Office said he is possibly with girlfriend Dayana Garcia and two children – a 5-year-old boy and a 4-month-old girl. They may be driving a rented, grey Mercedes C300 with a Texas tag of CD7P374.
Detectives believe Torrealba may be selling drugs to make money, and that he is armed and very dangerous. Anyone with information about Torrealba’s whereabouts is asked to call 911 or Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers at 1-800-780-TIPS (8477).
