Three dozens law enforcement personnel, including Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies, K-9 units and the LCSO helicopter responded to a home near Meadow Road and 53rd Street SW where it was reported a fugitive was holed up.
But Felipe Alex Torrealba wasn’t there.
The fugitive is considered dangerous and neighbors should use caution, U.S. Marshall John Kinsey said.
Kinsey said he didn’t know what was the fugitive’s connection to Lehigh Acres. The U.S Marshals have been in the area since late afternoon when they received a tip about the fugitive’s whereabouts.
“Everybody should probably stay indoors,” Kinsey said.

“They’ve been after him all day,” he said
The U.S. marshals have announced the fugitive sought in a Lehigh Acres home tonight is not actually at that home.
The fugitive, Torrealba, may still be in the area, Kinsey said.
