A home on Jayview Avenue caught fire Sunday night killing four cats.
The fire started in the garage of the home, according to firefighters.
Neighbors heard the fire as it exploded through the roof.
The flames destroyed the homeowner’s garage, part of his kitchen, and killed his four cats.
The homeowner, who didn’t want to talk on the record, stopped by his neighbor’s house this morning for a shovel to bury his pets.
